DEVOTIONAL
A lifetime song

Kaye

“I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” (Psalm 104:33, in the King James Version of the Holy Bible.)

Singing has always been a part of my life. My sister, Sue and I sang together in church as little girls and harmonized.

Singing is a mood changer. Go to a nursing home and start singing; feet will start patting and hands start clapping at the sound of music.

When I am feeling down I turn on the radio or CD player and listen to songs that will lift my spirit. There are so many beautiful songs out there you can just sing along with if you feel inadequate in the music department.

When I discovered this

verse it gave me permission to sing to God as long as I live. He loves to hear my song.

God has given me my voice and a good set of lungs so I can praise Him in song ever day of my life.

I intend to let everyone I meet hear me praise His Holy Name and make melody in my heart as long as I have my being.
