PAMPLICO –The Palmetto Pines Sporting Clays Classic will be held on March 17 at the Pinewood Hunting Club located at 1975 Blackstreet Road.

Adult and youth shooters will compete on a 10-station sporting clay course. Members of the TKA Sporting Clays Team and coaches will be available for shooting tips and assistance.

The events are open to all shooters, but youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Teams of four shooters may participate for $400 per team or participants can shoot individually ($100 for adult/$75 for youth).

The schedule allows a morning rotation beginning at 10 or the afternoon rotation beginning at 1:30.

In addition to the sporting clays course, there will be a 5-stand (presented with 20 targets from different locations in different patterns for $10) and Long Bird (5 targets are thrown one at a time from a distance and winner splits the pot with Palmetto Pines –cost $10)

Lunch will be provided at noon by Kenny’s Barbecue for the shooters and lunch only tickets will be available for $10.
